Back In Use: Back in Use recycles assistive devices and gives them away to people with disabilities and seniors in need of wheelchairs, walkers, hospital beds, and more. All durable medical equipment is inspected, cleaned, and sanitized before it is distributed. Back In Use relies on donations of durable equipment to pass on to people in need. Equipment requests can be made online using the online form on the website or call to make an appointment.

GiveABQ: At GiveABQ we provide a furniture bank that helps people turn an empty apartment or house into a home. We collect gently used furniture from the community and give it to people who are starting over after homelessness or other hardships. By working with local nonprofits, we make sure families have the basics they need—like a bed, table, or couch—to feel safe and comfortable in their new home. Together, we can help furnish hope and a fresh start for local families.
