Camp Enchantment is a free, week long camp for children with cancer or in survivorship in a vibrant, welcoming community where creativity, adventure, and personal growth come together in a magical outdoor setting. Camp Enchantment is specially designed to support children 7-17 affected by cancer, offering a space where they can simply be kids again where they are free to laugh, explore, and connect with others who understand.
Nestled in a beautiful natural environment, Camp Enchantment offers a wide range of activities from arts and crafts to hiking, unique themed activities, and evening campfire traditions that inspire campers to build confidence, express themselves, and create lasting memories in a safe, medically supported setting.
At the heart of Camp Enchantment is its dedicated team of staff, medical professionals, and Leaders-in-Training (LITs). The staff are compassionate, highly trained mentors who prioritize both emotional well-being and physical safety. The LIT program is dedicated to 18–19-year-olds, giving graduate campers the opportunity to develop leadership skills, responsibility, and teamwork. LITs serve as role models for younger campers, assisting staff, leading activities, and helping foster the inclusive, uplifting culture that defines Camp Enchantment.
A particularly meaningful aspect of Camp Enchantment is that many staff members and LITs are former campers or cancer survivors themselves. Their firsthand experiences bring a deep sense of empathy, connection, and inspiration, showing campers what is possible and reinforcing the camp’s strong, supportive community.
