The Memorial Medical Center Cancer Program is the only cancer program in Southern New Mexico that is accredited by the Commission on Cancer (CoC) through the American College of Surgeons (ACOS); this assures that the care you receive meets national standards. We have a partnership with the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center in Albuquerque, the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in the state. All of the physicians are board certified. All of the registered nurses are certified oncology nurses. We conduct multidisciplinary general tumor boards as well as breast specific tumor boards. MMC Cancer Program offers compassionate, comprehensive, state-of-the-art care to our cancer patients. We offer Look Good Feel Better classes, survivor yoga, and breast cancer support groups.
Our Radiation Oncology Department, Memorial Radiation Oncology, is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR).
